2023年8月14-18日期間，在學科帶頭人謝華清教授的帶領下，團隊成員王元元、於偉到南非開普敦參加了第十七屆國際傳熱大會（17th International Heat Transfer Conference）。謝華清教授作了“Graphene oxide/polyurethane-based composite solid-solid phase changematerials with enhanced photothermal and energy storage properties”，王元元教授作了“Enhanced output electricity of coupled pcm and thermoelectricgenerator system with optimized cold-end temperature”👨👦，於偉教授作了“Phonon and electron transport mechanism in polycrystalline goldnanofilms”的學術報告，產生了良好的反響。
國際傳熱大會由國際傳熱大會理事會於1951年發起🏄🏻♂️，每四年舉辦一次，是國際傳熱學界級別最高、規模最大的會議👩🏽🍳，至今已舉辦至第17屆5️⃣🗿。國際傳熱大會極大地促進了知識和經驗的相互交流，並培育了新的領域和跨學科的研究領域，被譽為“傳熱學奧林匹克運動會”。學科團隊通過在該頂級科學盛會上的報告🙏🏽，擴大了學術影響力🧜𓀉，深化了跟國際同行的學術交流👩🏿🦳。會議期間，謝華清教授作為國際傳熱傳質中心科學理事（Member of Scientific Council of the International Centre for Heatand Mass Transfer）參與了國際傳熱傳質中心的ICHMT ScientificCommittee & General Assembly Meeting等相關學術活動✵。
